Get comfortable with one shortcut.
Install TroveKey, confirm the Chrome shortcut and learn how local capture and browser permissions work.
Install and open TroveKey
After installation, use Command + Shift + K on macOS or Ctrl + Shift + K on Windows and Linux. Chrome controls global shortcut assignments in chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Save the current page or post
Use Alt/Option + Shift + S, the context menu or the Save current content command. TroveKey shows progress and the final capture status.
Restricted browser pages
Chrome blocks content scripts on chrome:// pages, some PDF views and other protected surfaces. TroveKey opens its standalone command page and applies supported actions to the source tab.
Back up local content
Open TroveKey settings to export a versioned JSON archive. Import validates the archive before replacing or merging local data.
